What is the Best way to upload a .zip?

Postby MyVCL2015 » Wed Jul 29, 2015 12:01 pm

I would like to upload a .zip file which contains some project files. Is there a designated way to do that so other reads can download the file? Can I just attach the file to a forum post?

Thanks

A zip file will work but you may want to use an installer. Inno Installer is a nice one.

Why? If he just wants to distribute a project, such as for review/demo purposes, an installer is overkill, not to mention it is likely to be considerably larger to upload than just the project files by themselves, so it is more susceptible to forum limits on attachment size.

Yes, you can attach a .zip file to a forum post. Unlike on Embarcadero's forum, this server does not have a dedicated forum just for attachments.
